Situated on the Warnow River, Rostock is the biggest city of the north German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is famous all over the world for its brick Gothic style buildings. The New Market Square (Neuer Markt) that is arguably one of the most charming locations of the city never ceases to awe tourists.

Depicted in the 1922 vampire movie, Nosferatu, Wismar is a tiny port located in northern Germany. Famous for its German brick churches and other brick constructions, this city is under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list since 2002. The town might be small, but it does boast of the largest market place in Germany.

Rügen Island

Also known as Rugia, Rugen… situated in the Baltic Sea off the north-eastern coast of Germany… is its largest island. It also constitutes of the principal part of Rugen District that includes several small islands inclusive of Ummanz and Hiddensee. It is connected with Stralsund city via the Rügendamm Bridge.
